Spring Jump-Start Service
Our Jump-Start Program begins with the last thaw of the season, typically between late February and early March. Here’s how it works:
- We start with a Spring Cleanup Quote, assessing the yard and providing a one-time cleanup price.
- The initial spring cleanup fee covers all visible and hidden waste accumulated over the winter.
- After the initial cleanup, we return for weekly cleanups at a standard rate until the yard is completely clean.
- If the customer wishes to continue with regular monthly service – broken down into weekly cleanups, we seamlessly transition into ongoing maintenance.
- If not, we simply return the following spring for another seasonal cleanup.
This program ensures a thorough, gradual cleanup of your yard, giving your pets a fresh and sanitary space to enjoy as the seasons change.
Winter Cleanup Service
Don’t let the cold weather turn your yard into a messy, snow-covered surprise! Our Winter Cleanup Service is a monthly service conveniently broken down into weekly cleanups to maintain a more pet friendly yard throughout the winter. By staying on a routine schedule, we help prevent excessive buildup, making your outdoor space safer and more enjoyable for both you and your pets.
- Monthly Billing – Service is charged on a monthly basis, with weekly cleanups throughout the season
- Routine Cleanups – Weekly visits, weather permitting, to prevent excessive buildup
- Budget Friendly – Regular cleanups also eliminate the need for a costly spring cleanup due to accumulated waste
- Consistent Payments – Since this is a monthly service, payment is required regardless of weather conditions or missed weeks due to unforeseen circumstances. Missed cleanups will be doubled up in the next week period
- Weather & Yard Conditions – Service is subject to weather conditions, yard accessibility, and unforeseen circumstances. If a visit is missed due to severe weather, the next weeks service will be doubled up
Service FAQ's
Do you service pens, kennels and dog runs?
We most certainly do! The price won’t change unless you want the area power washed. In that case we will need access to your water supply and hoses. Please request a quote.
Can you work with my dog in the yard?
In most cases, yes. We get along well with dogs; however, there are some cases when a dog will not allow us into the yard. If you know your dog is not good with strangers, or it becomes apparent that your dog will not allow us to service your yard properly, then we will ask you to restrain or confine the dog(s). If nobody is home we will note it and return when the dog(s) is restrained.
Do I have to be home when you clean my yard?
No. However, we will need access to your yard. We request that you have your gate unlocked on your service day.
*All gates will be locked once we have completed the cleaning service.
My yard is messy, will that effect the cleaning?
Clean Paws works diligently to keep your yard clean; however, we cannot guarantee full waste removal in areas that are overgrown, covered with leaves, or obstructed by debris. Additionally, heavily landscaped areas with bushes, trees, shrubs, and flower beds may limit our ability to provide a thorough cleanup. We do our best to remove all waste, but certain conditions may affect the results.
Is there an extra charge for the first time cleaning?
New clients are subject to an initial cleanup fee. Initial cleanup fee is charged because the first cleaning is normally a much bigger job. This will be discussed with you in advance and payment is due upon completion of service. In some cases the yards have been so well maintained that this charge is unnecessary. Spring cleaning is the most difficult cleaning of the year; we gladly service one time seasonal clients. Sign up early March to get your yard “Clean Paws Clean” and ready for you to enjoy.
Is it possible to get a one-time-only service?
Sure! One-time-only or short-term service may be easily arranged.
What if I want to change or suspend service?
You will not be charged as long as you notify us by either phone or preferably by email within a minimum of 24 hours prior to your scheduled date of service. If the dog will be gone from the yard for an extended period of time, contact us and we will gladly put your service on hold so you will not be charged for those days.
How often should I have my yard cleaned?
That depends on your personal situation. Most clients prefer cleanups once a week with our Monthly Service option.
What we recommend
For the best results, we recommend our monthly service, conveniently broken into weekly visits. This ensures your yard stays consistently clean, odor-free, and safe for your pets and family—all without the hassle of scheduling each time. Enjoy a worry-free, fresh outdoor space all year round!
Are there any contracts to sign?
Absolutely not! We can start and stop your service over the phone or by email. There are no minimum service periods and only a 24 hour advance notice required to cancel service.
When do you clean my yard?
Our monthly service is designed for convenience, breaking your cleanups into weekly visits to ensure your yard stays consistently clean and waste-free. No need to worry about scheduling—we take care of the mess so you don’t have to!
While we strive to maintain a reliable schedule, service is subject to weather conditions, yard characteristics, scheduling interuptions, and personal matters. If any adjustments are needed, we’ll communicate with you as soon as possible.
What if you miss a cleanup?
If we ever miss a scheduled cleanup, don’t worry—we’ll double up on the next week to ensure your yard stays clean and waste-free. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we’re committed to keeping your outdoor space fresh and enjoyable!
What about holidays?
We do not work on the following days:
- Sunday’s
- New Year’s Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving
- Christmas Day
When a holiday falls on your regular service day, we will resume service on the next day of service.
How do I pay?
Payments can be made by cash, check, and money order or online with a credit card through PayPal, Venmo, or Cash App.
An additional amount of $20.00 will be charged each time a check is returned from a bank or other financial institution due to insufficient funds. This charge is billed to offset costs for processing a returned check.
All payments are due within the first 7 days or the month.
A 10% late fee will be applied to payments that are over two weeks past due.
If there’s any reason to refund a weekly service, it will be corrected in the next month’s payment.
How does the winter season impact cleanup services?
Once the first snowfall arrives—typically around Christmas—you have two options for winter service:
- Pause Until Spring – Regular service is suspended until the snow melts, and a spring cleanup fee will apply when service resumes.
- Continued Monthly Service – If you prefer year-round cleanup, we’ll continue servicing your yard throughout the winter. Monthly payments are required regardless of weather conditions, ensuring that all waste is eventually collected, even when snow temporarily covers it.
- Save Money – By signing up for our Winter Service, you ensure that your pet’s waste is removed consistently throughout the season—preventing buildup and eliminating the need for a costly Spring Cleanup fee. Stay ahead of the mess and enjoy a cleaner yard all year long!
Please be advised that during the winter months, our service may be impacted by inclement weather. If weather conditions prevent us from performing the scheduled cleanup, your service will be rescheduled. *Rest assured that your yard will be cleaned. Should weather conditions prevent cleanup we will double up the next cleanup.
I need a spring cleanup, how does that work?
Our Jump Start Program is perfect for tackling the mess left behind after winter. Here’s how it works:
- First Big Thaw: We schedule your initial cleanup as soon as the weather allows.
- Custom Pricing: A price is agreed upon based on yard size and waste buildup.
- Monthly Service Cleanups: We continue service each week until your yard is completely clean.
- Flexible Options: After the cleanup is complete, you can choose to continue with regular service or stop—it’s entirely up to you!
What do you do with the waste?
We take it with us when we leave and we properly dispose of it in accordance with city regulations. This is included as part of your regular service.
